So I finally got around to playing Borderlands. I enjoy the RPG elements of the game, but as a shooter, it feels kind of lacking. One thing that it has going for it is also one of its biggest problems. Finding billions of different guns is pretty insane. Each gun is generated on the fly, with various stats differing. So finding loot is pretty interesting. But the amount of guns and their subtle differences is lost on me. Its a pain in the ass to have to compare your current loadout with the new loot you’ve found. Its easy to do, but the frequency you have to do it is a little over the top in my opinion. One thing I love for sure is the art style. The game looks like a comic book at all times, and you gotta love it when a developer chooses to do something different instead of ultra realistic.
