I thought I’d showcase a Transformer from my collection. This is Revenge of the Fallen Bludgeon. This is an update to a classic Generation 1 character. Back in G1, Bludgeon was a Decepticon Pretender. Pretenders were Transformers that came with a humanoid shell that the robot could be placed into. G1 Bludgeon transformed into a tank and had a skeletal samurai pretender shell. For this new, updated version, the Pretender concept is long gone, but the tank alt mode and skeletal samurai is still in full effect. This guy forgoes guns for two swords, which makes sense since he is a master of Metallikato. I love this guy! This is one of my most favorite Transformers toys of all time.
